Hi, I'm Scott
I help brands structure and unleash the power of their voice to create memorable content that drives measurable brand experience.
In 2007, I graduated with Honors from Princeton University, where I majored in English. For a decade, I was entrusted to lead research and content projects for clients such as Verizon, TNT, Adult Swim, and CBS Films, as well as Lionsgate and Amazon Studios.
My Story
When COVID-19 hit, I was a new father of a baby girl with health complications. Based on this lived experience and my skill set, I was invited to join the in-house Brand & Creative studio within the Marketing-Communications department of UCLA Health, a $6B health system ranked #1 in California and top 3 in the nation. There, I led a team of copywriters and collaborated with UX designers to evolve how the brand engaged with its patients, employees, and business partners across all channels, platforms, and touchpoints in order to help save lives in the midst of a deadly pandemic.
Key projects included a total refresh of the website, chatbot, code of conduct, and brand guidelines. Among our accomplishments:
-
Grew brand reputation to top 3 in the nation, the highest placement to date.
-
Increased patient-doctor video visits from 400 to 400,000 YoY.
-
Named a Shorty Award finalist for Best Chatbot and Best Digital Pivot.
